The True Story Behind Little Mouse

Hello, my little readers,

Thank you for spending time with Little Mouse. This story is very special to me because it was inspired by something that truly happened when I was a child, an experience that left a gentle, lasting mark on my heart.

When I was about eight years old, my family lived in a big, old farmhouse. My father would sometimes set mousetraps in the barn to keep the mice away from the crops. But I always felt sorry for those tiny creatures.

One summer’s day, I found a baby mouse caught in a trap. I carefully freed him and said nothing to my parents. I took him to my room and gave him a little saucer of milk. When I let him go, he ran away, but that night, the tiny mouse came back.

From then on, I would leave a bit of food on the floor each evening, and he would appear when the house was quiet. Every night he came a little closer. And one evening, he climbed onto my hand and stayed there, without fear. I was overjoyed.
